N. T. Wright’s newest is scheduled to be release in March, 2010. After You Believe: Why Christian Character Matters sounds very promising and hits all believers square in the practical world.

Wright says: “The point about ‘vice’, the opposite of ‘virtue’, is that, whereas virtue requires moral effort, all that has to happen for vice to take hold is for people to coast along in neutral: moral laziness leads directly to moral deformation.”

  1. This sounds like a really good read. I hope to get to it one day. I just need to convince my mind and body that I don’t really need sleep.

  2. LOL! Good luck on that one. The second hardest verse in the Bible (After John 13:17) is:

“I beat my body and make it my slave” (1 Cor. 9:27).
