As a shining example of pastoral wisdom and keen biblical insight, pastor Chris Brauns (author of Unpacking Forgiveness; see my review here) has some excellent counsel on “how we can experience mental victory over the emotional turmoil that comes of being deeply wounded.” His conclusion? “Cultivate a vivid picture of the final redemptive (eschatological) work of Christ.”
