No home is secured by nor sustained with foolishness. A steady, calculated, intentional application of wisdom, understanding, and knowledge are required to establish a household that lasts. When challenges manifest (and they will), then strength is on the side of the wise (Prov 24:3-5).

One word comes to mind when reading Prov 24:11-12: Abortion. However, this is not a proof-text for physically restraining mothers against their will nor should this ever be advocated. It is a solid text to encourage reaching out to those pregnant women who are considering abortion and reason with them to choose life.

Don’t be quick to rejoice over the failure of your enemy lest your celebration turn to lament (Prov 24:17-18). Eventually God will ensure justice is served (Prov 24:19-29).

Justice, fairness, honesty, and mercy. Who does not desire them? (Prov 24:23-26, 28-29)

Make first things first.

Put your outdoor work in order and get your fields ready; after that, build your house.

(Prov 24:27)

Live in the moment; make sponteneity your modus operandi and the results will be few. The diligent, systematic execution of a plan clearly pays dividends (Prov 24:30-34).
