I have a busy travel schedule ahead of me. Heading out to the Oregon coast for about 10 days of hiking, camping, backpacking, food-trucking (in Portland), and wine-sipping (I’ve been on a Zin kick lately, but the Oregonian Pinot Noir is some of the best in the world). Very much looking forward to getting rained on and beating the heat here in the Valley of the Sun (a.k.a. Phoenix). Our pups (2 Manchester Terriers from the award-winnding Rustic Lane breeder) will be well taken care of by their dog sitter as she stays here in our home during our excursions. The middle of September I head back to Yosemite to lead another volunteer trip with my fav nonprofit org Conservation Volunteers International Program (check us out on Facebook). The first week of October will be a 4-day hike up and down the Big Sur, California coast with our hiking club.
